A bit about me

I have always loved making things, and I have always loved learning how to make things. I studied Fine Art painting at Wimbledon School of art in London, graduating with a BA in 1991, followed by an MA at UCE (Birmingham School of Art). Shortly after my masters I was awarded the Boise Scholarship from the Slade School of Art (UCL). I went on to have a period of not making much art, instead earning a living as a graphic designer, using my creative energy with numerous national and international charities, schools and local authority services. Most recently I have worked as the artist-in-residence at St Barnabas House Hospice on the south coast of England, and now find more time to make art!
